9. WebVisitorID Data

WebVisitorID aggregates publicly available information from white & yellow pages, social networks, online surveys, research panels, voter files, utility requests, real estate listings, and other public sources. This information includes but is not limited to demographic, name, email, postal address, and interest information. This data is then indexed and aggregated to create a profile.

We use this data to create online segments that are grouped together based on demographic or behavioral profiles. This data is used to send relevant marketing messages on behalf of our marketers using the best practice guidelines established by the Direct Marketing Association through online and offline channels. WebVisitorID NEVER collects sensitive information, such as Social Security or Credit Card numbers for the purpose of sending marketing messages.

Information may be collected by third parties through emails and communications from WebVisitorID. We may collect, share, or sell user data with third-parties. These third parties including marketing consultants, advertisers, advertising technology platforms, and data preparation and processing services. Third parties may combine user data with data collected across the internet or from other sites.

We and our partners use this information to recognize you across different channels and platforms over time for advertising, analytics, attribution, and reporting purposes. 11. Opt Out & Request Personal Data

If you would like to opt out of WebVisitorID communications, contact us directly at info@webvisitorid.com You will be removed from all of WebVisitorID’s databases, which also includes our business professional file and our digital cookie-based ads. This process is only intended to remove information available through WebVisitorID.com and cannot remove the information from the third-party public sources, such as a white page directory.

12. Information Pertaining to Children

WebVisitorID does not collect or sell data from children under eighteen (18) years of age where WebVisitorID is aware that the user is under eighteen (18) years of age.

13. California Residents’ Rights Under the CCPA

Pursuant to California Civil Code Section 1798.83, residents of the State of California have the right to request from companies conducting business in California certain information relating to third parties to which the company has disclosed certain categories of personal information during the preceding year for the third parties’ direct marketing purposes. Alternatively, the law provides that a company may comply, as WebVisitorID does, by disclosing in its privacy policy that it provides consumers choice (opt-out or opt-in) regarding sharing personal information with third parties for those third parties’ direct marketing purposes, and information on how to exercise that choice. 

As stated above in this Privacy Policy, WebVisitorID provides you choice prior to sharing your personal information with third parties for their direct marketing purposes. If you choose to opt-out, WebVisitorID does not share your information with third parties for direct marketing purposes.
